What is wrong with using a car for its intended purpose of driving to and from work and to the shops and for a drive now and again? I live in the deep country and I LOVE it. The closest anything is miles away. I have a driveway that is half a mile long. I drive an old Lexus and Volvo. I'm not running huge obnoxious

A car is a form of transportation. You are an idiot.

I'm not at all saying everyone needs a car or should be driving because that is not true. I'm not saying everyone can afford to have a car. What I'm saying is most people my age don't care about cars or driving. I have a bike myself that I ride for fun on trails and through the woods and farms around my house. I cant

Maybe I don't live in an urban environment? You're out of touch if you think people don't like living far from other people and from cities. You can keep your "urbanism". Ill keep my open space, clean air, guns and privacy. I live out in the country because i dont want some asshat like you living 5 feet from me. No

Volvo för mig!

I'm 24 so I suppose i belong to this generation. I own two cars, am an adapt parking lot mechanic and spend my spare time on Jalopnik and similar sites obsessing over cars. I cant stand how most people of my generation do not care about cars. I blame hipsters, as all the kids my age like "public transport" or "bikes,

Toyota called....

That looks so good that the real new corolla will probably look nothing like this.

Volvo denies us both the svelte V60 and sexy V40 wagons here in the US. This makes no sense because Volvo is known for wagons. Elsewhere, you can have these with a range of efficient turbo diesel 5 cylinders I have heard rave reviews of, and MANUAL transmissions. Why Volvo? Why?

I'd have the XJR. It just looks so menacing, and that supercharged I6 is good for some serious fun.

It wont happen. Its too far expensive for most young people, and the rest are afraid of the image of blue collar, trashy t shirt wearing old, fat, balding middle age men who typically buy Corvettes. Regardless of how fast it is, you will never overcome the image of thousands of baby boomer men who own and aspired

The 2000GT mugging hard. What a machine!

Its a wonderful machine!

Volvo 240 Series.

Agreed. I love that car so much. A decent real 1995 cream yellow T5-R is on Ebay right now and I'm extremely tempted by it. I don't even care that its yellow.

What a waste of an 855R. I would LOVE to have one of those. Plus its the uber rare dark green! I don't know if we even got that color here. I bet its also a stick too, which is even more of a shame because VOLVO DID NOT SELL THEM HERE.

I just want to keep my aging Lexus and Volvo on the road! I'm all for #8.

Any Arab nation. They just generally don't consider women to be equal to men, and women are prohibited from driving in places like Saudi Arabia.

Fucking-A! The C30 rocks. I can't think of a better looking and more fun FWD 2 door hatch for the money. Plus its stylish and offbeat, so you don't look like a pubescent 16yr old kid with a sideways hat in a GTI. Its also a Volvo so its sensible, safe and well equipped. Plus that 5 cylinder just sounds so damn good.

Every 2002-2006 camry has some sort of damage to the front or rear bumper corner. I swear they all were sold with that dent! When I worked at a Toyota dealer service department I swear literally every Camry from that bodystyle I serviced had the exact same dent plus more dings/scratches and dents than you could count.
