Idk I think it would be a lot better if when someone reached this point without proper safety backups a new Civilization would appear at one of their cities at random and it was able to mass produce great units or had a bunch of different advantages (not a Civ player so idk who it works). Scrapping to survive against

Leave the Reaper main alone!

Alright, easy there edgelord.

Seriously. Especially on console no one chooses Ana cause she is garbage. Piss poor healing and terrible damage. A shitty ult and no mobility. She is no fun and hard to play as.

Mercy is what eased me in and got me hooked on the game. I’m a crap aim but great at team management. I’ve since expanded out to other characters, but she was my favorite for the longest time. I’m saddened by the constant changes.

I wouldnt say fans had anything to do with ‘convincing’ Crunchyroll and Funimation to do anything. Funimation became a VRV channel partner out and now they’re playing nice with Crunchyroll because of it. Its purely a business decision

Side note: Amazon started as an online bookstore, not a CD/music seller.

Except Amazon Prime isn’t free.

That cheese drove me nuts once I realized it was in not just one level, but most if not all of them (I forget, but if it’s not all it’s almost all of them).

Pre-internet there were a lot of inspired tall tales about games that spread in the schoolyard, and hacks on unlicensed carts would fuel rumors about crazy games that people swore existed...

Rare don’t allow the downloading of their ZX Spectrum games to this day. But the original roms of said games are on this cart. So I’ve often wondered if it’s legal to download the games if I own Goldeneye (which I do), seeing as I legally own the roms?

Wha? You literally walked across one to get to it.

And there’s at least one Perfect Dark mystery I want to look into.

Rumors like this just don’t work anymore. Too many people know how to cheat and reverse engineer to disprove such rumors, and the Internet spreads the debunking.

I’m always eager to know what captured players’ imaginations back in the day. These stories are so interesting. At the time, the energy surrounding these myths was so electric!

Sucks to be whoever was assigned to that guard tower. No bathrooms out there.

God I remember absolutely agonising over that island when I was in middle school. Even after I got access to a gameshark and wandered my way over there (that gameshark code was absolutely massive btw, unless you were using a PC to transfer it on to the device via the serial port it took forever to input) I was sure

The Dam island is up there with the Sonic 2 beta stages for mysterious, fascinating gaming things from my childhood. They scratch some very particular and hard to define itch for the unknown. (See also: Shadow of the Colossus cut content, Dark Souls stuff, etc)

Before developing my Gamer Sense proper, I just assumed it was scenery.
