So when he called America’s media the “enemy of the American people” or when he had a nuclear strategy session in a public restaurant or when he declared himself the “least racist person” — then asked a black reporter to set up a meeting for him with her friends in the Congressional Black Caucus or when he publicly

Your parents will feel the hurt sooner.

Lets see.

We need more governmental money going into science, technology and biotechnology research. It leads to improvements in industry, seeds future technological growth and creates a stronger nation overall.

No. They probably don’t even know what it is or does.

Yep, all those freeloaders getting 0.0002 of the federal budget or approximately 5 F35's.

They will, but there are other things in there that even they think go to far. There is this weird thing where they realize that when they make cuts, they don’t want the public to feel those cuts. This was a thing a few years ago in one of the southern states where Republicans massively cut funding to their state

Cutting funding for the NEA, NIS, and NIH?

God, I worked inventory at one point. Cronyism contracts made the cost of replacing things like a single wrench in a four-foot tall toolbox comparable to buying a new toolbox and keeping the old stuff as replacement.

The big thing of course is that these could easily be saved if his fucking hard on for Defence was actual proper funding.

I agree. The first time I played ME1, I wasn’t a fan of how wonky the game was. After a few hours of elevators and turning everything into omni-gel, I started to love the game. ME2 is still my favorite though.

Witcher is, imo, technically a better game but they differ in a few key ways. The main being that DAI you had to manage a party and that makes the combat more strategic where Witcher was not. The lore and world building in Witcher 3 was my main disappointment after playing 1 and 2. The ending to Witcher 2 had such an

DAI was great overall and especially coming off DA2. It really needed an AI script mode like DAO had to have more passive control over your companions. It had a little bloat but I loved the entire game.. great lore and story. Even when Bioware fails at things they have always been good with story and characters... but

I’m seeing all the downsides, they just don’t really matter that much. Yeah the UI isn’t great. Yeah the animation is bad. But if I didn’t like a game, good UI and good animation wouldn’t make me enjoy it more. So why should it be the other way around? I’m having a lot of fun. It feels good to play, and the agility

I’m not seeing the downsides of ME:A like other people seem to be. The UI is a bit sloppy (like others have mentioned that bloody M to open map but not M to close map...eurgh) and the animations need a tiny bit of work perhaps but I thought the first few hours kind of felt...like Mass Effect? I’m for the release

I absolutely love Mass Effect 3, shitty ending and all. It doesn’t have the best ending, but the individual character stories all have excellent conclusions. Plus, it has the best combat of the series. Mass Effect 1 is still my favorite, but 3 closely follows it.

While we’re nitpicking, I have no idea why you have to press spacebar twice to skip dialogue lines. I’ve played Bioware games before, I know how to skip dialogue.

I signed up for EA Access specifically to demo Andromeda after hearing iffy things about it. I think EA Access will see a sharp uptick in its membership for a month or so. :)

I thought Dragon Age: Inquisition was great. Dunno why people have soured on it over time. Obviously it had some issues (epitomized by the Hinterlands) but I really enjoyed the combat, story, and characters. (Iron Bull!)

This is reassuring. 1 is my favorite of the series (closely followed by 3, FITE ME IRL), but I’m deliberately avoiding spoilers until I get the game myself. Fingers crossed I’m not disappointed :/
