Maybe in Presidential Systems and specifically in American politics, term limits might work better but I don't think they are at as necessary in Parliamentary systems, where a politician's longevity is based on the confidence of the public and one can lose their job at any moment.

Overturning Roe v. Wade would be hard for the Supreme Court in terms of maintaining its legitimacy.
