Female recreational cyclists do not generally need to push their limits, race against time and increase their adrenaline when riding rough downhill trails. They just want to enjoy the time spent in nature on the bike, and their expectations on the bike are completely different from the men’s professionals’. They look

I don’t want to make assumptions about what it is like to have a mastectomy. But I am imagining that if I had to have a mastectomy, even if I’ve come to terms with it and learned to accept my drastically changed body, seeing a bunch of attractive young women with their perfect breasts holding a coke can in my honor

If Ariel isn’t played by a real mermaid that I’m not here for it.

I would see this Little Mermaid movie. Get yourself an agent Finger, and get cracking on that rest of that screenplay.

The Little Mermaid is absolutely the saddest. My mother bought the book for me when I was younger & it made me cry so goddamn much. I read somewhere the other day that Alice Munro started writing as a young girl after reading the Little Mermaid, and being so upset at the ending that she had to rewrite a happier

He would’ve been great. Now that they’re recasting, I’ve heard it brought up again, but I think it’s too late. They keep wanting to have Spider-Man be in his high school years (fine), but they keep casting these dudes in their late twenties. I do not understand it.

I have no argument. I’m surprised it’s on CBS because I watch it on Netflix and I feel like CBS doesn’t have a lot of representation on Netflix. It’s just a goofy, fun show. We like to have it on while gaming.

Yup, there are literally none. Had to be Emma Stone. Just like Tiger Lily had to be played by Rooney Mara in Pan and Joel Edgerton had to be Ramses in Exodus. God, those casting people have it rough, eh?

I thought that was who she was until I read the headline.

What you doing in here, Kris? Don’t you have some momaging to do?

WOW she looks like Jessica Lange!

Pfft, I learned that God was a woman from the Dishwalla song “Counting Blue Cars.”

The synagogue where I converted used “He” and “She” interchangeably when referring to God. The synagogue I go to now just uses some kind of gender-neutral situation like “One” and refers to “the Parent of us all.” Pretty neat.

Awesome. Another book that tells teenage girls (and the rest of us) that an abusive relationship is a-ok.

I’m assuming that her bursting into tears was her wishing she still had cancer so she wouldn’t have to be with that jerk. “Five Years Free...BUT MINE FOREVERRRRRRrrrrrrr.......”

Don’t listen to no nay-sayers, E.L. James! You just keep at that horse!

As usual Oliver kills it. My favorite half hour of TV every week.

I’m the same age as Elizabeth and her story, since she was missing to when she was found and beyond, has always stayed with me. Primarily how she schooled Nancy Grace during an interview, and how she talked about how her school and church’s teachings of purity negatively impacted her after she returned home.

Yep. They sit on you at night and try to steal your breath hoping you'll die so they can feast on your corpse.
