I’m from PA and I support this message. Although I’ve been away for a while I’m always happy to hear when good things happen, and sad when bad things happen. Did the state pass a law making it legal to discriminate? It’s hard to keep up sometimes.

I lived in Austin for 8 years and just moved a year ago to a smaller, more redneck Texas city so I miss Austin. But yeah, it’s not paradise and so true about the bike friendliness, in the time that I lived there I knew 3 people who were hit by cars and I witnessed probably 5 or more car/bike accidents.

That’s so true. I’m glad someone is saying it. I had no idea that they wer oppressing people with public transportation there, though. That makes me queasy. Portland is becoming disgustingly gentrified too. sure the transit goes everywhere and it’s bike friendly, but “progress” tends to mean “move the brown people…

Actually, the transit does run east/west but it could certainly be better. :)
