I've had nothing but good luck with yarn on Etsy but I stick to sellers I know on Ravelry, like Bohoknitterchic, Tanis Fiber Arts, Sweet Yarn Fiber, Northboundknitting.

I admit I don't trawl Etsy for finds, so I stay out of some of the drama. For me Etsy is like a mall that houses some of my favorite stores. It provides me with a clean interface, smooth checkout and access to vendors from around the globe.

Wow! That is wild, way more interesting than the stories I have heard about him.

This may be more io9, but I always had heard that Eccelston really only intended to do one season of the Doctor and was not prepared for the levels of publicity that NuWho would get.

This site is one of my new favorite things. Now whenever I do something I think "is this feminist?" and say Problematic like Trogdor the Burninator would.

My friend from high school, Hava, said she was forever thankful to her parents for choosing to omit the C from her name at birth, so that most people would be able to pronounce it properly most of the time. Although it was only the kid who spoke French really well could get his Ch- sounding Hebrew-y enough to be

Really hope Dan Harmon is the magic toe shoes of Community, in that we have lead ourselves to believe that he is magic element that makes the show more than your average sitcom, but in fact the cast and crew have the magic within themselves and make it work.

I'm just going to believe that like Troy he is Jehovah's Most Secret Witness and spying on behalf of Community.

Oddly enough, I prefer the feeling of cheap sheets, Ikea are personal favorites.

While I'm not a consumer of traditional luxury goods (although I do love a good Merino/Cashmere/Silk blend to knit or spin), I do spend money on quality goods.

That is what cracks me up is that he would think I'm an American.

If you are in any sort of medial field and willing to work in remote communities you would be welcomed to Canada with open arms. And I would guess it is similar in Australia.

Agreed. If I had studied something "useful" like math or engineering I would have HATED it and dropped out, or would be working I job I hate. Instead I have a BA in Geography (and an MSc in Planning) and I have had jobs I love and I keep finding more opportunities.

VOTE! I lived in Texas in 2008 and I voted in Austin knowing that my vote and those of my friends and collegues (Democrat) would be outshouting by the suburbs and rural communities across the state.

Yay, and welcome.

Yep the do. My uncle went to Switzerland to train as a chef and had to do his military service when he went over. My dad has his brother's dogtags (my uncle and both grandparents on that side have passed away) somewhere, but I think they were shaped like two octagons connected.

Whatever, I'm still cooler as I'm a triple citizen (I swear it is all legal, there were lawyers and everything) Canadian, American and Swiss.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned. Maybe it is my years living in the States, but it is a single MP championing the Personhood thing, and he is pretty much a joke.

Its like he thinks all us pro-choice go around pointing at things (because women aren't real people) and shouting, Oprah-style. "You're getting an abortion, you're getting an abortion, you're all getting abor-tions"
