Not to be heartless but with 8 - 12 foot waves, an unsupported person (no boat, no life raft, no lifejacket) was dead minutes after they hit the water. There will be no body to find.

I went to the one in Glendale, couldn’t really see a point in it existing. I’m also pretty sure the employees were required to ask if you wanted to “experience” their dressing rooms every time you took 10 steps.
I have to ask, that list of companies and such, is it something that is just on a website somewhere or does some compliance staff in the company get regular updates to check against the list? Also, does not following have any risk of law enforcement getting involved or even fines?

The SUV driver will probably get sued by the tow truck driver’s insurance company after not being able to pay. Then the SUV driver will likely file for bankruptcy and the bankruptcy will get him off the hook for any damages as this was an accident and unintentional in the sense that he wasn’t trying to cause harm.
Uninsured. I bet he doesn’t have any money to pay this stuff with at all. What do you do if you’re just trying to get blood from a stone, legally?
