That movie is amazing and taught me about reproduction.

I sort of feel like people don’t really owe the public (outside of family) honesty about things like pregnancy, abortion, sexual history, or sexual orientation before they’re ready to give it for whatever reason, and that mocking or dragging people for it years later is kind of crappy. At this point I’m not really…
I think silence is one of the few appropriate responses she could have in this case, when you consider all the famous and not-so-famous people who have come out and made public statements defending spouses, relatives, and coworkers who raped or beat someone. Coming out to publicly disown him and promise never to speak…
Just quit shitting on people that want to help. Make it a competition. I would love it if so many groups flooded those areas with so much cash as a pissing contest since more people would get help. Do you know for fact they are telling people convert or we won’t help? My church funds a lot of food banks and we have…
It doesn’t matter. A community gets water. Whatever an org or individual needs to make that happen so be it.
I made my 3 year old cry yesterday after she ignored repeated calls for her name and just took off into a busy restaurant - though she knows better - while we were waiting for our table and nearly took out a waiter at the knees. I snatched that child by the jacket, hauled her outside, and had the same expression as…
“Bread cheese” is a translated name for a Finnish cheese called leipäjuusto. However, yes, it is fairly similar to other firm cheeses that are resistant to melting like halloumi, especially since most versions of these types of cheeses as sold in the US are going to be exclusively cow’s milk, whereas in their native…
Dude, leave me out of your little arguments. I corrected your misinterpretation of his last sentence. That’s it. I have no horse in the running here.
Bread cheese is actually a Finnish cheese called Leipäjuusto (and sometimes called Finnish squeaky cheese). The concept may be similar to queso blanco, but it’s a different variety altogether.
Well, I suppose you could have Googled it, but then it would’ve precluded your oh-so-witty snark: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leip%C3%A4juusto
Did I say jack shit about Freedom of Speech? This has nothing to do with Freedom of Speech. This is Wargaming attracting more attention to the situation than they should. If they just revoked SirFoch’s priority access, that would be the end of it. SirFoch had stated he was prepared to lose that. But attacking his…
Streissand effect in full force. Had they simply ignored the criticism, nothing really would have come out of it.
I can totally stand behind them removing him from their internal program. Their program, their rules. But they wouldn’t stand a chance making the copyright claim stick since he didn’t break any rules there from what I can see. He should have just kept the video up since he isn’t getting back in the program anyways.
This is where they botched their response and the problem I have with this type of shit- game publishers using youtube influencers to push their games. They’re all too happy to give youtubers free early access copies of their games, so long as the coverage is positive. The second they have criticisms and it’s not “on…
First of all Criticism of content isn’t a copyrightable offense. So he would win if World of Tanks tried.
$80 for an in game vehicle?
While Blizzard is a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Blizzard itself generally publishes their own games. This gives them a large degree of autonomy from Activision, and they aren’t forced to associate their games’ branding with their parent company. The infrastructure and netcode for the Blizzard app is also…
Great job not being a dick about it.
It's like the athletes who let shady doctors in other countries inject them with stem cells. I know it's hard to find a good trustworthy doctor these days, but chances are that if you're getting injections in the back of a pickup truck, you should rethink what you're doing.
Real scientist would have been much more careful with putting additives in with stem cells. And a clinical trial would have the patient closely monitored. The bones would have been detected very early and their growth would have been stopped.
