No one ever tells future chemists that the[y] don't get to be in a lab for a year.

ah yes, no time for fantasy sports. You are too busy commenting on internet posts.

Steroid much?

Marty was so good, they created a rule to try and stop him. And we hung 3 banners in less than a decade in that shit hole. Enjoy the sweep!

I have a little bit of trouble breathing his name in the same sentence as Brodeur and Hasek. Lundqvist may be a king at this point, but those are two Gods of Goaltending.

Marty has the longevity right now, as well as a few other advantages. Lundqvist could crack the Top 10 all-time if he carries on well into his late 30s (and it would help to rack up another Vezina or two and have the Rangers remain relevant), but I doubt he catches Brodeur and breaks into the Top 5.

not to take away from your point...but Cam Ward won the Con Smyth and was absolutely the best player on his team in that run. a series of bad injuries derailed a career that never reached the levels that their cup run indicated were possible. Far from being a pro, but I played a decent level of hockey as a goalie and

ahh the stats argument the only saving grace for fanboys without titles. AGAIN ill say it again I like Lundqvist, im happy to see the Rangers in the Final but this article paints him as " The best of our generation" and hes finally just NOW done something "great" hes not Patrick Roy, hes not Dominik Hasek, but hes

"AMAZING!" by NY standards perhaps. A pretty nice stop anywhere else.

Because Deadspin writers are douche bags and I like pointing that out to them as often as possible. Why do I continue to visit the site? The 10% of the time they do good work.

Well I AM a Knicks fan, and I hope Melo leaves.

"I'm really not saying, 'Go barefoot.' What I'm saying is, what is the evidence to back up this scientific claim that you need special shoes in order to do something that your species has been superb at for two million years?"

the Pacers also claim they've had a boycott in effect since the playoffs started.

Not for nothing, but, if the NHL and NBA didn't have to pay player's salaries, they'd look a bit more profitable. All these revenue generating programs have managed is to mimic the pro's business model in an environment that doesn't require the same (or even a comparable) expenditure on salaries and wages.

I'm skeptical about this unionization. You must be naive if you don't think that union bosses aren't going to take advantage of kids who can barely read and write

No. No. No. We do NOT have different rules for the last two minutes than we have for the rest of the game. If you're not "letting 'em play" for the first 95% of the game, you don't ignore rules when it actually counts. That attitude is among the single dumbest things in sports.

You're trying way too hard to rationalize this stupid and biased article. Just stop.

I guess you can just completely overlook the fact that if the ref doesn't call the charge, it was Michigans basketball because LeVert made the steal already. Also, don't mention how Michigan got completely hosed on a review about 30 seconds prior to even allow Tennessee to have a chance. Good article though. Really

Or I could just be laughing at how poorly that was written and how comically absurd it is that we pretend college athletics has anything to do with education.
