It’s been out on blu ray in the UK since mid June and copies of that have been up on torrent sites since. It’s Armando Ianucci so I’m confident it’s as great as you claim, but I have no idea how that’s going to make money in theatres in this environment.

I completely agree this would be the best way to handle this, but I think the reason you’re seeing episodes being erased instead is because those involved are still actively working in Hollywood and would prefer the episodes erased as opposed to having their names in the credits of an episode with a racism warning.…

Because of the high ceilings there are a few in Toronto that are being converted into rock climbing facilities, but those were single screen theatres. I have no idea what you do with 20 screen theatres.

The only seasons they have on blu ray are the later seasons after the show had already shifted to a 16x9 presentation. Classic seasons are dvd only and as much as I would love blu rays of those seasons, I imagine their only future is streaming on disney+.

Well how bout that. Nice to see that genre theory is still evolving, as it wasn’t a popular term when I was going through film school in the early 2000's. 

The term is not neon-noir, but neo-noir as it refers to the revival of the film noir in modern times, so new noir. Easy mistake though as neon lighting has become incredibly prevalent in neo-noirs.
