“What do they call Mjolner?”
“What do they call Mjolner?”
Coming back and seeing that they changed the headline based on your editorial note made my day. I literally laughed out loud as I was scrolling past it.
Always had a soft spot for Owen and was disappointed his career didn't take off as I expected after Children of Men. Loved him in The Knick, but after that his career seemed to sputter, so I am ecstatic to check this out.
“and they’re doing it now, three months into the WGA strike.”
You missed Princess Bride on 4k and Asteroid City hitting blu ray on Sep 5th, as well Batman: Mask of the Phantasm on 4k comes out Sep 12th.
That's not a Jonah, that's Jonad.
If it was any other director I’d be concerned, but Coppola has a tendency for chaotic shoots that lead to classic films.
It was released over 3 volumes, but I’m not sure if that’s all of the shorts. There wasn’t much logic to the collection of the shorts. Volume 1 had the most well known shorts they’ve produced so each volume has fewer inarguable classics as they went. Can’t say if there was no volume 4 because they’d released all of…
Yup, I've got most of the classic Looney Tunes that were removed on blu ray. Sadly can't say the same for Flintstones though.
Don't you think?
I'll let them off the hook as it's not a cameo it is an actual performance and a damned good one. For me it is his greatest on screen performance and I'll always smile when I see the Captain Marvel cameo that nodded to it.
Let's not forget his role in Everybody Wants Some, just all charm and cool.
I was a big fan of Enchanted and I was excited for the sequel until I saw his name. He won’t make the worst film of the year, but the best you’re going to get is a mediocre product, no matter how much talent you give him to work with.
STAMOS!
You can put as much talent as you want on screen, but if Adam Shankman is behind the camera you are getting a dud of a film. 20 years of disappointing, ambitionless films. Whoever hired him should have known what they were getting.
He's no Rory Calhoun.
Would explain why they needed to shut down production, financing was likely connected to Murray’s involvement and with him gone, they both need to recast the role and refinance the film. Even if it’s just recasting there aren’t a great deal of actors in Murray’s age range who are still theatrical (or streaming) draws…
That 90% number may go down if they decide to recast Miller. A multiverse spanning story would be a very convenient way to introduce a new Flash to take the baton that Miller is fumbling. Still 14 months until it's release date.
They did and he has not.
