I'm waiting to hear the story of the office temp who eventually admits she was the one responding to all these emails supposedly coming from Jobs.

@Sithishade: Loss of GUI? There is no GUI. They might have good info and ideas (sometimes) but they really need to hire someone to help them with the visuals.

@jnewman10: 4.2 is slightly better for me than 4.1. There's still some occasional stickiness. Unless you have an app that requires 4.x, I'd stay with 3.1.3.

@jnewman10: I can't find a concrets answer for this from someone who actually has a 3G. The one and only video that everyone linked to a couple of weeks ago showed nothing in the way of improvement, so I'm not expecting much.

HA HA 3GS owners. Now you can start to feel all that "you need to upgrade your out of date 3G phone" crap 3G owners got when iOS4 crippled our phones.

Regular Steven Segal ass or Steven Segal Lawman ass?

Inbox loads like molasses. So messages aren't stored locally and have to be download every time the app opens? That is suckage.

What a snoozer.

I'm down, I'm really down.

Another way to make my Airport Express drop out while playing songs.

@sam4sb: Funny, I thought it was a message for Photoshop to burn in hell.

@Eptin: I understand the need for paragraph spacing. But this trend to have so much extra padding does nothing for legibility and leads to less information being seen on s single screen view.

I don't think they tested it well enough on the 3G and they really don't care at this point. With all the iP4s being sold why would they bother worrying about an older phone?

Why

@liquidsnake001: Since my 3G has slowed a bit due to 4.1 (due to what I think is a lack of memory), does jailbreaking have any effect on memory usage? Better? Worse? Same?

Sounds like they got a hold of some old Bugs Bunny cartoons and liked the sound effects. Can you imagine being somewhere and the "Fanfare" sound came out of someone's phone?
