I think it's because the show used a ton of licensed music. Very expensive to rerun. I see it on YouTube TV occasionally though

I definitely think the reboot movies are better to start with, and if you reeeeally liked those, you can go back and watch the show plus this movie 

Similar to being a Dead or alive fan these days. I just like the combat mechanics! Sure the attractive characters are nice to look at, but I don't need a thousand skimpy outfits to swap into.

This movie has some incredibly weird pacing in the middle and could have either used another round of editing or an extra 20 minutes added to fill in some stuff

Yeah after the first movie it really fell off. Stephen Hellenburg the creator also requested that they stop making the show after he passed and Nick didn’t honor that at all which is a shitty thing to do
