I think it can be learned early, I think it’s easier to learn it early, but I don’t think it’s impossible to learn it later. Lots of single dads learn emotional intelligence because they have to. It’s kind of a trial by fire situation, granted, but it shows that it’s not impossible.

Yeah, I don’t mean to speak for the world on this one. Just the USA. I don’t doubt that other western countries also have a problem with erasing trans folks and POC from queer history. But I’m not well-informed on the specific events of the British gay civil rights movement.

I can only speak to the USA with any degree of certainty. My sense from the article was that this was an American group and an American petition, given that it specifically mentions Stonewall, and most of the organizations and sources they mention are based in the USA.
