she went out and appropriated a disability.

Dude that is a terrible idea.

is there such a thing as blindface?

What the fuck.

Yeah she’s apparently really pro-life and her husband was “so proud of our son”

Like, even if it is, though. So?

Like hell am I going to a Waffle House in Kentucky at 2am without my gun.

The partial wealth confiscation of dead people when their assets are greater than $5million...

It already has a remarkably high cut off.

Yeah the point I was making really hung on that distinction. I was on my phone. You can sit the fuck down or you can address the actual points instead of acting like me forgetting the color shirt the woman was wearing voids my argument.

That is straight up absurd. Capital gains tax is nothing.

I honestly support the estate tax, even though I know it’s going to lose me a lot of money down the road when my grandmother and parents pass on. I realize those people worked hard so that I would have nice things. But I didn’t. I didn’t do anything to earn that money. And it’s already been tremendously beneficial to

You know you pay tax on gifts over $13,000, too, right? It’s not different. Almost every way in which income is taxed is taxing income that has already been taxed. We tax money when it changes hands, that’s just how it works. That’s not taxing the same income. That’s taxing one person’s income, and then taxing another

Yeah, how dare I forget how many people they interviewed during a brief Jimmy Kimmel segment. That’s clearly the only reliable indicator of intelligence.

To be clear, I actually do know a lot about corporate tax, and I don’t support Hilary because I don’t thinks he’s a very progressive candidate. I assume you’re using the general you or referring to hypothetical me.

Yeah, that’s legit. Like, I don’t think we should tax companies out of existence. If I thought all corporations were actually paying 39% income taxes, I don’t know that I’d agree with that. I’d have to look over the numbers and know where it’s going.

TBF that is not necessarily indicative of womanhood.

Yeah, but nobody actually pays it. There are so many insane loopholes, not to mention the whole LIFO/FIFO disingenuous income reporting shit. IIRC one year when I was studying tax auditing, I looked over Johnson and Johnson’s financials and found out their corporate tax rate for that year was 5%. So nominally, we have

You have no idea how many people they interviewed before they got the four responses they wanted.

I think part of it’s just that these policies are totally meaningless to people out of context. If you just told me a democrat wanted to cut corporate tax and gave me no additional context, and I didn’t already know a lot about corporate tax, I would assume there was a reason for it. And in conjunction with the plan
