Denying creeps (not minions) denies the gold bounty and part of the experience bounty from the enemy team, and it also allows you to control the positioning of the creep wave (the "equilibrium"). If you deny creeps, your wave does less damage, which causes it to die faster and the subsequent wave to meet the enemy's

1) Every game starts very slow. VERY SLOW. There's a big chunk of micro training in the tutorial for a reason. As long as you stay near creeps, even if you're not really contributing, you'll still get some exp.

Besides a few heroes, there's not really a lot of micro in Dota2. One thing I can recommend to help out with

I like adventure time, buuut I think two shows passed it as my favorite cartoons.

I actually finished it about 6 months ago, I do think it's dated/a bit unpolished but it's definitely playable and I actually found it fun.

I mean, there's no simple way to do it. Mobas, and DotA in particular has one of the biggest learning curves in gaming that I can think of right now. I started playing 7 (8 maybe?) years ago, so it was a bit easier for me because when it was a Warcraft 3 map, nobody cared and everyone was bad and the game was still

You're telling me that if someone comes storming in with their gun already out and pointed at you, you're going to have time to grab your gun and shoot them without them noticing?

Yes almost every hero in the game derives inspiration from WC3 units since, you know, DotA was built with WC3 units. They also have characters who draw inspiration from anime, such as Slayers, other games, such as Final Fantasy, and literature like Shakespeare (A Midsummer Night's Dream). The best part about the

This video is a bit stupid. He even admits at the end he has barely played DotA/2 and that most of his information on it is second hand. It very clearly shows when he thinks the only major differences are turn rate and creep denying (which is what all league players seem to think).

You can't try and make an un-biased

Learning the game is the most fun part really actually... You'll find many people who reach the top tiers in LoL or DotA often stop playing for the most part and just watch tourneys, because it becomes tiresome to have to try-hard every game to keep your rank, and you can easily become frustrated by teammates not

I really enjoy Dota 2, and I bought the compendium. I don't think I'll watch the live games - I'll catch them after the fact - but I'm happy to support the creators and pro players. I'm fairly new to Dota, and while it can be surprisingly hard to get your money's worth out of a f2p game - I feel that's not the case

I expected that it would be more than last year, since it was such a great event. I really enjoyed watching it and so did a lot of people I know, even people who just liked to watch it but don't play it.

I'm so glad that I'm one of the few people that enjoys watching the tournaments of this game, but hates playing it! Thank you Dota players for helping fund my entertainment!

Are people still on the rape (it wasn't, she consented the whole way) thing ? Seriously the world seems to be getting more touchy and emotional by the day.

So this mode can be enabled anytime in Dota 2 just by typing -wtf in a cheats enabled game. It has been in Dota since 2009.

So basically, it's original DotA's -wtf mode, which Dota 2 also has as a mode you can play at any time :)

I wouldn't be surprised if dance-choreography is included in the next FF game.

wow.... thats so ill-informed its actually funny. When I play games its rare I am paired with or against anyone with less than 800-1000 games under their belt/at an appropriate skill level. There is sometimes one person who decides to ruin the game but those are trolls and not newbs. Newbies get paired with newbies,
