definitely agree. As a male, I was actually quite interested in the subject and have a desire and consumer base mature. But I found Anita's video quite lacking and pretty biased. There were a lot of history of the trope but no in-depth analysis on the matter: why it was so then and how the industry has already matured

I was kinda interested on what she will do with this series, but this episode shows some clear bias and lack of research. What gets me the most is that all her examples are originally from the 80's-90's era. Back then, games needed to give a clear motivation to players while limited by hardware. Making players "save"

where are you getting your info?

I have played both and I can definitely say that the dualshock placement feels more natural for me. Mostly because I'm usually keep both my thumbs on the analog sticks for character and camera movement at the same time for most of the time playing a game. I feel more comfortable that they are symmetrical.

Same. I'm actually interested in the accessibility of this 3D modeling. Alot of problems with crowd sourcing creative content is a programs ease of use. Hopefully we can see some really amazing stuff coming out of this

wow. elitist much?

Can you imagine standing on a hill loudly exclaiming "I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS..." while firing an AR-15 at the enemy?

the '4' is part red line and yellow, bottom left.

yes. And we all know kung fu. NEVER underestimate an asian

I can honestly say I don't agree. Personally the games that I was most invested in had linear but very engaging story lines.

personally, I hate the 360 controller design. So do a lot of people I know. However, I do understand that there are others like you who likes it better that way. Point is, someone else always likes something you don't.

If anyone is wondering, PIS is also known as Yaphets. Considered the best solo mid player of his time (which was incidentally just a few years ago). Hope he comes out of retirement though

well, where I'm from, $160 is plenty to live off on for month if we're only talking about daily LAN cafe fees and mediocre food. This is obviously after conversion.

do it

I just speculating here, but if this man is a veteran, then it could just be instinctual. After all, real soldiers don't moveand fire their gun at the same time. Moving and shooting is really a video game thing

Lol, he said "NO, YOU DIDN'T!!!!!"

funny thing is that the only thing separating salt and scum is soap...so he must be one clean dude

it is the more glaring elitism that is becoming prevalent in gaming culture. smthing we as a community should avoid, but is inevitable in the progress of growth.

yea, but a lot of the technological development to build the space program was accelerated by WW2.
