You are full of knowledge. I was (wrongly, I think) considering Asperger's as a separate condition. Why isn't anorexia a people-first disorder? Is people-first language reserved for mental illnesses? Help me understand this somehow!!!

Autism is a specific disorder, while mental retardation is a blanket descriptor. I think it's acceptable. Would you say "anorexic" or "has anorexia?"
