It is! This is actually the only sports game I’ve played that really encapsulates what it feels like to play its respective sport (the ball might not always bounce where you think it will, sometimes it’s better to not hit a ball just because you can, timing your middle runs (and retreats) is hugely important, etc.)
That would suck to work on a game for years and get dropped before completion.

Very fluid game, animations and visuals are great, the cars “feel” amazing. I’ve played predecessors that felt good, but they did not feel as good as this. It is a whole lot more fun and addictive than what it looks when you see it played.
