Between this and that fucking trainwreck of a comments section for the GJI earlier today about Oswalt I realize that I have something to say. Here it goes:

Ugh. Then there's the reliable negativity in the comments here. Apparently a woman being stopped cold by the sight of undead children is inherently sexist and it just goes to show yet again that GoT is misogynistic.

I thought it was because in the books the Night's King hasn't yet appeared in the present day—so far there's just been the legend about him, no? So maybe they didn't want to spoil what would be a genuine surprise down the line.

The really stupid thing is that by the time he made his first comment plenty of other people had joined in talking about Rand's philosophy. Still others have since. He must have a problem with like two dozen other people, too.

i know, right? like the same thing happens whenever someone mentions Triumph of the Will and someone else has to bring up Nazism. why does that have to happen every.single. time.the movie even gets referenced??? Can't a propaganda film be talked about without the collective baggage that comes from the director
