Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is my #1 most anticipated game. I absolutely loved the original and played the heck out of it, as did my kids. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the new one measures up.

Starfield didn’t resonate with me, as much as I wanted it to, and that’s OK.  Bethesda earned enough good will from me due to Skyrim that I’ll gladly give their next big open world game a shot when it comes out.

Short answer: Hell no.

The one thing I’d add to the list is Shangri-La Frontier.  It’s not the kind of anime I expected to like, but it’s quickly become one of my favorites for 2023.

So many better ways they could have fixed this and remained profitable without pissing off the fans this much. For example:

Considering the quality of the content created by real people in developing this game, perhaps having AI help out isn’t such a bad thing in this case.

The Lego sets are cool, but I’m a bit disappointed they aren’t announcing an actual Lego Animal Crossing game.

When I bought Pac Man on the Atari 2600 in 1982, it cost me $34.95. With inflation, that’s $111.20 in 2023 dollars.

When I heard the title, I just assumed the studio behind it was The Asylum, because this sounds exactly like something they would come up with, but apparently that’s not the case.

Sure, you could probably get an AI to run a scripted module “by the book” but when it comes to all the other things that I and other veteran DMs do, I just don’t think AI is there yet.

Is there anyone, anywhere, that is actually predicting Blue Beetle will be a box office success? Based on how Shazam: Fury of the Gods and The Flash flopped, I can’t imagine a film about a lesser known character (except to Young Justice fans) will manage to move the needle.

While I love both Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, this crossover was more than I could have hoped for! It’s been a long time since any episode of television has made me excited to watch it a second time as soon as possible.
