Order of the Scribes did not make the cut in the new PHB. Every Class has four sub-classes. In some cases, new ones were added, or brought over from Xanathar’s or Tasha’s but in the case of Clerics and Wizards, the number of sub-classes was reduced.

The four Wizard sub-classes in the 2024 PHB are Abjuration, Evocation,

I’ve been posting since at least 2013, lurking longer. It looks like the posts are already gone on Kotaku, so i09 is likely not far behind.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

It’s nice to be excited about another season of Dr. Who again for the first time in a long while!

I didn’t give this series much thought when it came out and it took me a while to get around to watching it, but it turned out better than I had imagined. I’m glad to hear the 2nd season is out somewhere. It means I’ll likely eventually get to watch it, which would be a much better use of my time than another season

I use Dall-E 3 rather than Gemini, but as an experiment, I asked Dall-E 3 to generate some historically accurate Vikings from around 845 for me, both single portraits and group shots. After about a dozen attempts, with four images generated per attempt, I found plenty of typical AI art errors, but the skin tones were

I guess my question would be is this overall diversity, i.e., it’s ignoring historical accuracy in favor of providing a wide variety of diverse skin tones for everything, or is this targeted diversity? In other words, if I were, for example, to ask Gemini to make historically accurate images of African, Asian, or

Well, at least this is a change from reporting about Amouranth.

Considering that the live action show is likely to be a condensed retelling of the animated version, I agree with this decision. Not enough episodes to properly establish the flaw and then show him evolving past it over time.

The psychic battle in Legion between David and Farouk as they sing Behind Blue Eyes is my favorite scene from any Marvel TV production.

How many more of these packages do they need to sell before the core team can pull the plug and move to a country without extradition?  That seems the next logical step.

Call of Duty and pretty much every other FPS game out there.

FPS games were my go-to form of entertainment back in the Doom/Quake/Heretic days, but over the years, most of the popular FPS games went from having complex maps with multiple routes and secrets to unlock to being a series of well decorated tubes connecting

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is my #1 most anticipated game. I absolutely loved the original and played the heck out of it, as did my kids. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the new one measures up.

Starfield didn’t resonate with me, as much as I wanted it to, and that’s OK.  Bethesda earned enough good will from me due to Skyrim that I’ll gladly give their next big open world game a shot when it comes out.

Short answer: Hell no.

OpenAI’s board today after 5/7ths of their employees threaten to quit if they don’t resign...

So what I’m hearing is, don’t get too attached to One Piece.

I really enjoyed it! The three stars had good chemistry, the plot was not overly convoluted and there was good humor to it. Of the recent MCU films, let’s say the last two years or so, I’d rank it higher than Quantumania, Love and Thunder, Wakanda Forever, The Eternals and Black Widow and on par with some of the

The one thing I’d add to the list is Shangri-La Frontier.  It’s not the kind of anime I expected to like, but it’s quickly become one of my favorites for 2023.

So many better ways they could have fixed this and remained profitable without pissing off the fans this much. For example:
