Part of me is happy they’re foregoing the dub. I hate playing fighting games late because of the localization, and as a japanophile, I always play with the japanese voice overs when they’re available anyways.

However, I recognize a lot of talent and effort went into the production of the dub, and I’m sad the absence of

I won’t say the Japanese Dubs are better but I just can’t find anything appealing with the English Dubs after listening a few times. Even with Blazblue.

I’ve been 100% subs since my youth, but I still have to pour one out for dub fans. I don’t understand why you like it, but you should still have the option to.

Did you seriously just try to rope a game without a dub to fucking fascism!?

Shhh, don’t tell people ‘round these parts you prefer the Japanese dub. They’ll start calling you a weeaboo and insist English voices are objectively better.

The fact of the matter is more games would get released in the west in a more reliable and timely fashion if they just had to worry about subs.

It’s rare for me to say this, but I totally agree with you.

Really, Ragna’s voice is the only one I’ll really miss. And maybe Rachel’s. Everyone else sounded too “stock-Funimation short list”.

Weird, I always found the Japanese cast to be much better. I assumed they dropped the English because more people just played with Japanese voices anyways. Same thing with Guilty Gear.

Great to hear. This book looks like a big step in the right direction. I like 5th edition mechanics, but not a fan at all of the post-release support they’ve been giving it.

That is factually untrue. There is no law in the US that says that you are liable for what someone without explicit authorization does on your WiFi. You should still secure your wifi because you can be exposed to the expense and stress of a lawsuit or criminal prosecution depending on what it’s used for but legally,

Most people don’t understand the ins and outs of telecom or AC current but we let them have hardline telephones and mains power in their houses. Maybe we (or more specifically the FCC and its canadian equivalent) should do a better job educating people but at the end of the day, internet and wifi are basically

Except that this isn’t a case of maintenance of hardware. Someone stole her car and took it for a joyride, and she’s faced with a bunch of tickets that aren’t legitimate anyway because they weren’t issued by the state.

Its even easier. Even if they traced it to her IP - it means nothing. They can’t prove **WHO** did it. Various piracy cases have already fallen through on those very grounds because it could have literally been anyone.

I dunno man, she should be allowed to use her computer to skype her grandkids and post embarrassing messages to her children’s FB walls without having to understand P2P torrenting, IP masking, etc.

“They only told me that if I didn’t comply, I would be liable for a fine of up to $5,000, and I could pay immediately by entering my credit card number.”

Now if only they would give us more class and race options, you know, the important stuff.

Is the 2nd edition the AD&D books from the 80s?

No you totally get into DMing by being nice. You don’t SURVIVE DMing by being nice.

Any D&Der’s around Buford GA? Been trying to find a group but I don’t know anyone locally who plays.
