No because the games wouldn’t make sense on other platforms. Splatoon, one of their best selling games in the past few years would not even be possible on another console. Neither would mario maker. Without the second screen it would be garbage.

Except that nintendo is one of the most well capitalized companies on the planet. They have more than 10 billion in the bank. They can afford to lose money... and they are actually making it so no, they are not doomed.

You can’t play every game comfortably with it but the steam controller works really well for a lot of K+M only games. Darkest Dungeon for example, or Warlock, master of the arcane.

This. I work at a keyboard all day. K+M games are bad for my hands. I love the steam controller. It’s great for Darkest Dungeon and for Warlock, Masters of the Arcane.

This... seriously, if you don’t know and trust the publisher, if the game doesn’t have excellent reviews, if you’re seeing complaints etc... just don’t buy it till you can be sure.

I personally have zero issues with early access. I only check out games and pay for them if I am SUPER into the idea of them and only if they have good reviews... I haven’t been burned yet.

Yeah I agree with you I love handheld gaming and I was really excited for the VITA but with sony basically giving up on it, it didn’t seem worthwhile to invest in the system...

If sony had price dropped the Vita I would have picked one up in a heartbeat... but the price is a non starter for me, especially with the memory card. If they at least gave you a free 64GB memory with the device I’d consider it....

The best part of this is that we might FINALLY see some of the SE titles I’ve been desperately hoping for to hit the modern eshop. I really want to be able to play FF6 in wii u mode... Yeah I was just trying to finish the season goals but the remaining ones require me to rebeat the whole storyline?!? Again?!? Not super into that but might do it anyway. Or is there a way to get to Toment 2 and higher without beating the game on Torment 1?

I hate when monsters just target one player with stress over and over and there are not enough stress management tools in the game to deal with it. It’s super cheap... but I deal with it by focussing on killing/stunning stress dealers first.

what? you can turn off heart attacks? Corpses I don’t mind because they make certain skills useful/worth setting but heart attacks are bollucks. Glad they aren’t auto-die now though.

I would get it but for some fool reason you can’t buy it on PSP? Does not make sense since it was avail for JP PSP consoles.
