Seriously - this. I just love running around the world and finding stuff, filling up my collectapedia - doing random quests etc.
Do it, you won’t regret it. Awesome games for picking up and playing for 30 mins to a half hour. Mario Maker and Mario Kart for example.
I have 400 hours on Pokemon x, probably 300 on Ruby and I just breed for fun I don’t even compete. Just trade them off.
This. There are way more exclusives for PC and exclusives for WII U than for the other 2 consoles combined so why would I buy a X1 or PS4 to play inferior versions of multi-system releases? There are almost no exclusives for those two consoles... the only one I am sad about missing is Persona on Ps4 but I can handle…
Pretty much everyone understands lol
The worst is that you KNOW that when the canuck buck goes back up they won’t move the prices back down either. It’s $80 games foreverrrrr now
Seriously, this. At $80 I am not buying games unless I know I’ll love them.
“ publishers want to adopt a more PC-like model” yeah but without more PC like prices. I’ve never spent more than $40 on a PC game. Even the newest games are hugely discounted quite quickly on PC.
Yeah Americans don’t know that Canadians are currently paying $80+ for new AAA games... most games get a whole lot of “no thanks” from me these days
Well... I have to imagine hearthstone is raking it in... I never spent money on phone games before... I think I’ve spent at least $100 on hearthstone. evil hearthstone.
I’ve spent 400+ hours just on my Pokemon X cart. My pokemon white 2 cart also has 400+ hours on it. Yeah pokemon is sort of “multiplayer” but not really... Wonder trading isn’t really multiplayer... and most of my time was just spent breeding or hunting shinies (I’ve only online battled 1 time)
I play multiplayer all the time, love it in fact, over 30 here. Maybe that just makes me old enough to have seen games go offline forever, left unplayable... and that makes me think a multiplayer only game isn’t worth the same base price as a single player game
The difference is that the single player games can be played forever or until your system/disk gives out anyway (long time) and you can always get the same enjoyment out of them - whereas online multiplayer games can become completely pointless when servers shut down or when they become ghost towns.
If you don’t like it, don’t back it. As long as other people will give them millions up front to dev they are going to ask for it though - and that’s okay because people get to choose whether or not to back it.
This seriously.
What are you talking about? The only ones missing out are people without a wii u. 98% of the games on x1 and PS4 are the same... buying them both is silly.
Persona... only non-ninty exclusive I am interested in this gen. Not enough to get me to buy a console mind you... but it’s better than anything X1 is offering. HALO.LOL
This, seriously people, PC blows consoles out of the water. With lack of exclusives on X1 and PS4, the only console worth getting is the wii u, at least with that box you get to access games you can’t play otherwise.
Women aren’t “causuals” we’re normal gamers. Speaking for myself I’m not looking for casual games, I’m looking for games more interesting than “shoot people over and over then shoot more people” and X1 has nothing in any of my favourite genres that I can’t get on PC. Roguelikes, strategy and RPGs are all best on PC.
