I know, it’s been a while since I have posted. And some stuff has happened.
This is just storage of my best pictures I have captured. I figured it would be easier to just have one big post where they are all together so I can access them online.
For the past couple of months I have fought fiercely in a battle to find the best way to take great photos, on a budget. I used to only take photos outside using the automatic setting on my phone’s camera. It was a good tactic, I would get pretty great pics half of the time. But now I present my technique for taking…
The axles need to be shortened and then spacers added to give it good fitment. Then I can detail it and it should be finished. If anyone want’s to trade anything for the custom Porsche, I can put the wheels back on it.
I am going to customize this rad little SP2. I just love the tampo on it!
Have a red R33
Sorry for the awful pun. I have been really busy lately so my activity here has been low. I also fixed the lights in the diorama
I also managed to find this one at Kroger for $3 yesterday. It was on a whole 50% off rack full of random stuff.
It looks like it’ll fit well
Thank’s to those who participated in the latest contest hosted by me. Yesterday was the deadline for the contest so all entrees are final. There is one small loophole. At first, the theme was fall photography, then I changed it to winter since there were no more elements of fall for anyone to take pictures with.
I can’t seem to figure out the light painting stuff everyone does here with 1/18's. The shutter speed was at 10 seconds and I was waving around a small slightly diffused flashlight. This stuff is hard. Now have a good laugh at some of my attempts.
I was at Kroger for some birthday party supplies for my 2 yo’s party this Saturday, and (naturally) the hotwheels cars caught my eye. So I grabbed a CRX and another Quattro, and proceeded to the checkout. As I unload my basket and scan everything (cars last) I noticed that the price wasn’t right on the cars. I thought…
I thought I’d mention there is a prize for the photo contest. Doug hooked me up with a $TH mustang for the winner.
First of all, I forgot to mention the deadline for the fall contest. Since I was a bit too late in fall for any of you guys to be able to take any nice pics. We are going to move on to the winter theme. So basically anything you get in winter, snow, Christmas, etc. The deadline will be January 5. So hopefully you can…
A couple of months ago I got my Maisto 1/18 GT-R. I promised to show how to make license plates for them so here it is. The Japan plates are for what ever scale you want. No matter if you want it 1/87 scale or if you want it 1/4 scale. There is a website I found where you can design your license plate with lots of…
I just got a package from Doug yesterday. In it were this beautiful Mini GT type R, the Flatbed King (now I can participate in #Makeitfit! :D yay!), and some awesome wheels which I will show later.
I found this UT models Porsche 911 GT1 diecast for sale. I made an offer of $10. It’s missing the wheel and wing but surprisingly, the engine cover is still on. These are the only photos of the car
I rarely purchase die cast cars other than hotwheels cars but I will try my best to give a list of the best ones I bought.
