so are you mad that a black actor was then cast in place of a white guy or nah? Just curious where your outrage is at on this.

“Its not my job to teach you even if you ask in earnest but fuck you for not knowing?”

I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here.

“Its not my job to teach you even if you ask in earnest but fuck you for not knowing?”

I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here. It sounds like Tilda was up front about the issues, expressed her desire to do something about it and sought advice from someone who is in a good position to provide it. And Cho’s responses were thoughtful and measured as well. Not sure what got lost

What kills me about the “climate change is a hoax” theory is that virtually no one benefits from this hoax.

How are tourists in Japan different from any other tourists in any other country? I'm not sure I understand what I think (but may be incorrect) you're insinuating, that Japan is a special snowflake where everyone has to be on their best behavior and respect the locals.

If you live somewhere like New York that is feasible. I live in a rural town that has 4 pokestops all at the park. I walked 6 miles in 4 hours around the track. Ollecrong balls at the stops and going around the loops of the park. ZERO Pokémon spawn at the park. No one lures non stop and everyone runs out of pokeballs.

“Pokevision made the game fun”

This tip, plus the curve ball and the good/great/excellent throws remind me of the old “smash A over and over again” trick on the earlier Pokemon games. It didn’t do anything but it made you feel like you had a bit of control.

The game experience itself is terrible. But since a lot of Pokemon Go lives outside of the actual app itself (the people you meet, the places you go), the experience itself can still be enjoyable. Obviously there are REASONS why the launch has happened the way it has, but if I am going to be honest in my reporting

That reminds me of the Don I had when I studied abroad for a summer in Oxford. He was a classic example of perfectly dry humor, and on July 4 he casually congratulated all of us for celebrating the biggest mistake in our country’s life. I loved that guy.

Too bad you failed to understand the context of the time and culture this essay was written in.

Thanks glad you were here to sort this out otherwise we might have gone one internet conversation without someone bringing this up

Ah. This is thread where I, not believing in God, still reaffirm that I would rather eat poison than be lumped in with people who call themselves atheists.

I understand what you are saying, and rereading my comment I think that I maybe wasn’t clear. I’m not arguing against people being able to wear a collar in public and it isn’t that I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want more acceptance so that people like your friend feel more comfortable having these discussions

This kink isn’t particularly heavy on sexual acts, so I think people should mostly be able to be who they are. If they want to dress as dogs in public, so be it. Not my taste, but neither are Crocs. In the same vein, I think they should be able to be comfortable discussing their partners and romantic lives and sex

there’s a little overlap with the puppy/furry community but i don’t think i’ve met anyone who actually Thinks They Are A Dog For Real.

He’s a “bastard” for having a phone? You’re the asshole calling kids names, hiding behind your anonymous profile. Who deserves more scorn?

@GeicoCaveman: Get over yourself. Exercise purist are about as bad a fanboys and tree huggers. Try broadening your reach of intellectual thought that rather berating others for what you perceive their fallacy is
