Barry isn't really old enough to drive, they even pointed it out in "Independent Movie". It was just part of the spoof.

Classic meta-moment if I ever heard one.
Yeah, I was mildly concerned it was gonna be just a lesser rip-off of Itchy and Scratchy Land, and while I don't think it was quite as funny as that brilliant episode, it absolutely did it's own thing completely different from it. Good on them.
Aww man, that's such a great episode. Really nice satire on Desperate Housewives, and how they bond over cheating on their husband, and all of the great scenes in it, like Francine in the valet in the closet with the "cock", the box they bring from all of their affairs, etc. And how about this brilliant exchange;
Francine: I'll do it.
Terry: What?
Francine: I'll carry your baby.
Greg: Really?
Francine: It makes perfect sense. I live right across the street and both pregnancies were a breeze for me. Doctor says I have a big spongy cervix. Oh, listen to me bragging about my vagina. It's last week's PTA meeting all over again.
HA, yes, another excellent line from Roger.
DEUCE! DEUCE! TWO TIMES.
There's a show that airs on the same night, same channel, one hour after that had a stretch from mid-season 1-6 without a single bad episode (actually, season 6 had one), and maybe one or two mediocre ones. The rest range from good to brilliant. It's a shame people ignore that though, cause it's about a good a comedy…
I dunno, I just found this episode boring as shit…and I was really high, so that's especially bad. I mean Peters Problems had a funny first act with all of the forklift stuff, but the second and third acts were just disastrously unfunny, and last nights episode - while not quite as poor - was just dull as dull can…
I know you love Brian and Stewie, and they ARE the only redeeming part of the show left, but I really think you overestimate how good they really are. "Road To Rhode Island" (still the absolute best Brian'Stewie episode, and one of the shows best in general), "Stuck Together, Torn Apart", "Road To Europe", "Road To…
Even American Dad has Stan go out of his way to pretend to be his body double Hayley was dating who didn't show up for the date so she doesn't have to get dumped, go on a rampage, and end up in jail. He was willing to endure the most awkward situation ever just to help out his daughter…meanwhile Peter would just laugh…
Jeez, are you new here? I don't think a single person on this site would bash you for not watching Family Guy anymore. Most people would in fact encourage you.
So you hate one of the best episodes, and one where Joe was treated like an actual, competent human being? And that was a great episode, and an absolute classic if you ask me. And like all of the first episodes it actually had some genuine heart, even if it was minimal.
Yes, I have seen it…and I get the ending (or non-ending) of the Ass Crack Bandit story, which made sense and totally worked for me. What I'm referring to here is Pierces death. The claim was made that they shoehorned in his death at the end of to show how insignificant everything else was before it, as it if it was…
American Dad, watch it bitches. My one hope is that every writer above and even the commenters would take this suggestion and watch these two episodes, and hopefully get on board with one of the most creative and hilarious comedies on TV.
The comments here actually seem very divided, and skewered toward the negative, so your not alone there pal.
It's certainly possible, but at the same token it's a shame the show is running out of steam. One of my all-time favorite shows, American Dad, is now in its ninth season and still coming up with fresh jokes and creative stories. And that kind of long-run excellence is possible, the writers just have to be willing to…
Ehhhh, I would have to disagree. While perhaps the show has only had one or two truly BAD episodes, it's been on a run of mediocre ones for a while now. I caught a bunch of season 2/3 reruns over holiday break, and my god I was laughing like a hyena wondering why the hell I don't revisit those episode more often. Then…
WHOOOOOO ARE YOU. WHO WHO. WHO WHO.
Hey, that's my spaghetti!
