The Mitsubishi Starion.

(Full disclosure: This is a blog for people who are interested in paying taxes for a better society. If your idea of a good country is one with zero taxes, then please close this tab now, there’s nothing for you here.)

It is equally annoying to have the EV true believers go on and on about how they will rule the world in three years or whatever.

Man, that cover brings back memories. Something GT, Camaro, Laser, Mustang SVO, Merkur, Starion, 300ZX, or Supra. So many choices...but I guess I can’t complain now because of: Hellcat, Corvette ZR-1, Camaro Z/28, Mustang GT350/500, WRX, and Supra (kinda). 80s Forever! lol

I think you need to show your math.

Sir, this is a car blog

My first answer was BMW, but today’s video release reminded me of my real answer.

While I get the special nature of the GNX in it’s time. 30 years on an automatic, V6, 80's GM interior making 300ish horsepower just falls into the malaise of the era when put behind the horsepower wars of the last couple decades. To say even less of black regal tribute cars

Pickup trucks, all of them. They’re utilitarian, ubiquitous and boring. I don’t care if you have a lift kit and 100 accessories or the King Marlboro Man edition or whatever, it’s all been done to death. Nobody is impressed.

So, I’m about to become really unpopular.

Fox body Mustang. I always thought it looked too much like the Escort.

It’s all cosplay man.  “Look at me and how outdoorsy I am.  Probably.”

Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator. Never understood the appeal of having one as a DD.

While covid is real, and people are really getting sick and people are really dying, there is no way that 238,000 people died because of covid. There is a lot of gray area in statistics that people want to throw around as unmitigated fact. Too many people I know, who are not extreme tin hat wearing nut cases, who work

What you described doesn’t make you a “Rona warrior,” it makes you a hypochondriac. Good God, I feel sorry for you.

And who gets to define the “right hands?”

The people seeking it out want the big engine.

I’m not going to argue that a manual transmission makes sense in the G70. Honestly, they never should have bothered. They were dooming it to failure by making it and the V6 mutually exclusive options. It wouldn’t have sold enough with the V6 to keep it as an option either, but at least it wouldn’t have seemed like

‘Automatics are faster’...I don’t care, I don’t drive on a racetrack. ‘Automatics are better in traffic’...I live in NJ, we know traffic, and I still prefer a manual and I do get off the damned highway and take back roads when it’s bumper-to-bumper. ‘You just want to pretend you are a racing driver’...No, I just want
