I honestly don’t understand why this game even has lore to begin with. What’s the purpose? It’s a team shooter that doesn’t go outside that box. There’s no real need to have complicated backstories to these characters.

Is Blizzard planning to do something else with the property? That’s the only way this makes any sense.
