I know age is the main (non-racist) reason given for Idris not being given the James Bond role. But he’s not THAT old. If Liam Neeson can be a credible action hero when he’s in his sixties, then Idris Elba will be able to play Bond for awhile. He might not be able to do parkour, but James Bond shouldn’t be doing that…

I never thought about the girlfriend as “who McDormand was before her husband” but that makes a TON of sense. Especially when she tells her ex-husband to be nice to her.
The stupid girlfriend is the nicest character in the movie and she delivers the movie’s central theme. She also is the only character in the movie who is genuinely a good person and doing good things. She works with animals and the disabled.
I didn’t even like the movie that much and I found myself defending it solely because people clearly didn’t understand the movie and were projecting all this crap at it that the movie is not even trying to address.

Oh no, S4 was SO BAD by the end, you shouldn’t even watch it unless you’re a masochist — a failure I’m not sure anyone could have anticipated when this sparkling, charismatic, great-looking show premiered back in 2010. This video is a bit long, but makes many good points about why the show is ultimately so terrible…
