Only for the United Kingdom's F-4K and M variants.

A similar problem can happen on the ground that can literally tear the aircraft apart as demonstrated by this ground resonance test using a Chinook.

I have seen one in the car park at my place of work (Bristol, UK). I nearly gave the driver of the car I was in a heart attack when I saw it!

The common one I hear, here in the UK, is Hairy Missile. They're also known colloquially as 'Fluffy'.

Cheers buddy!

A guy I know raced in the US and said that the physicality in a sprint was a lot less than he's experienced here in Europe; can anyone confirm that?

All these guys are doing is trying to get their sprinter near to the front of the pack to win. They do not care for the other teams.

What a beautiful country Afghanistan is, it's a terrible shame that you can't truly travel safely in the country.

True- unfortunately being surrounded by the Master Race has led me to pick up inaccurate phrasing. Negative Pitch being the ability to fly the A/C into the deck with some small positive pitch as you've mentioned.

What's really interesting is watching the main rotor go from positive to negative pitch when the Lynx lands on. It essentially forces the Lynx onto the deck.

The perfect answer doesn't exist. You want an A/C with the load capacity of a Chinny or a Super Stallion with the footprint of a Pavehawk. The S-92 has had numerous issues with it's introduction to service, and the one that sticks out to me is it's run dry capability w/ the main rotor gearbox.
