There have been many, many male celebs that have had downward spirals, were completely destructive, doing life-ruining things...and they were maybe married or at least had kids, and not one person stepped up and decided they needed a conservator.

The real injustice to me isn’t the conservatorship per se. She was in an insane downward spiral at the time it was granted, and the fact that she has been able to perform isn’t going to convince me she’s still not got huge problems and also wouldn’t be painfully at risk of being swindled out of her estate.
