I know of two people who were surrogates for others. The people who they carried for were middle class. I know people take out loans and there are other ways to finance a surrogate.  I’ve never explored it with regard to insurance, but there may be companies that include surrogacy as part of fertility coverage.

For sure.  I cannot imagine rejecting my child or my child rejecting me for any reason.  And to have a powerful force and money behind the separation, plus knowing they’ve clung to the other parent and the other parent is encouraging the separation is just devastating.  

Last Podcast on the Left just did a 3-part series on David Miscavige and his bestie, Tom Cruise, was featured heavily. It really does dive deep into the family separation aspect of the church. It’s definitely horrifying and fascinating.
