We have about 150,000 in Chicago that identify as LGBTQ. We are also a surrounded by Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri (though St. Louis prob has its own parade) that is a lot of LGBTQ people traveling to come here because they live in conservative states. I get the need to fucking party and release tension and

Mr. Levy is currently on a business trip and I’m bored AF (I never travel for work), but that has more to do with the fact that I WAH. I’m alone a lot, which works for my homebody-extrovert-introvert self.

Yeah, it wasn’t said...just depicted/implied. The scene where Jules injected herself with hormones (which I was more focused on how awful her thigh/butt looked with the bloody scratches, and why, than what she was injecting) and then at the end, where there’s the wide shot of her and Rue on her bed and you can

This show - at least in its premiere - didn’t present a universe that’s balanced with light and dark. It’s just a purple ecstasy trip populated by nihilist teens who are so beleaguered because... reasons?

Honestly it felt like the movie “Kids”, but if it were made for prestige TV. There was zero levity to the 1st episode and Zendaya’s voiceover was almost too much at some points. There was a scene with Eric Dane that almost made me turn it off altogether.

It’s about time a Wiener in government did something good. *ba, dum, bump*

I also got the “Kids” turned up to 11, plus not as gritty as I remember the movie being, vibe to the show.

I had all those emotions watching it as well. And I half-watched it due to working and watching at the same time. It is very intense and stressful to watch.

I felt like there were more than three, due to the porn being shown via people’s phones. I knew Eric Dane’s (or his body double’s) was going to show up and I was still taken aback by it.

“We Need More Famous Musicians to be Allies and Use Their Influence to Create Positive Cultural Change.... No Taylor Swift, Not Like That.”

Yup. Before I even heard the song, my first thought was, “I wonder what angle Jez is going to use to tear it down?”

Yeah, I’m not interested in raking the guys over the coals about defending MJ when he pretty clearly needs some grace and support.

Aww, this is sad to me because it never failed that if I was shopping with my grandma, we ended up at DressBarn for one reason or another. She passed away late last year.  End of an era.  :(

At that point I really wanted to ask her if she had read anything about the place before showing up.

As a customer service person in the vacation industry, they don’t have an issue telling us when they had a shitty time. ;)

Lois is a treasure and I’m glad she survived. Her reaction to the spa they went to for vitamin infusions and the cryo-chamber was the best.  She lived through a serial killer attack and is 90, she doesn’t need your snake oil TYVM.

Yes. This.

I saw Mod Sun the other day in some headline (probably on here) and it didn’t register as the name of a person. I thought it was a store or something...like a sister store to Pac Sun (do those even exist any more? I haven’t been to a mall in for-ev-er).  Hi, I’m an old.

Maybe? Maybe not?  But at least she’s gaining knowledge and wants to use it for what seems to be a good cause, so it’s a good use of time IMO.

While the Vogue article was very fawn-ish over KKW, I don’t actually hate the idea of her becoming a lawyer. Especially if she’s going to use her skills (pro-bono, hopefully) for trying to change laws for non-violent crimes and/or petition for people to have unfair sentences commuted.
