I listened to all of The Dropout and just finished the documentary. I preferred the podcast. Every time she was on screen in the doc, I had to look away. She’s fucking creepy. She would probably stab someone with that blank look her face and then lie about how they ran into the knife. All with that fake, deadpan bro

Also, I just remembered that she played a school principal/headmistress of a rich kids school trying to cover up a scandal on “American Crime”. (which was based on a case that happened at a school that’s local to me) Things that make you go ‘hmmm...’ ;)

Or in the case of Huffman or Loughlin, BEEN A GUEST STAR? ;)

This story is so wild. I’ve read some of the indictment stuff with amusement and a whole lot of ‘wtf-ness’ about it all. They got so damn brazen about it all.

Agreed. I would say that the next best two are Caught and In The Dark, season 2.

While I agree that describing the podcast as ‘thrilling’ is a bad take, some of these investigative podcasts have done a lot of good for their subjects when it comes to trying to right the wrongs of the criminal justice system. Beyond Serial, I can point to two podcasts I’ve listened to that did or are inspiring

Teddi and LVP were totally in cahoots on this and Teddi admitted to it somewhere social media (saw it in one the Bravo FB groups I follow). Also, I bet Teddi knew LVP was angling for her LVP Dogs show all along, and is fine with it. I mean, Teddi leveraged LVP and VP Rules airtime to get her brother a job at TomTom.

And Denise looked AMAZING in the white shorts and tank (with the asymmetrical neckline, it had a Grecian vibe and I was there for it). I am in love with her as a housewife because she doesn’t give a single fuck.  She’s what Teddi WISHES she could be. “Yeah, fancy food is for Instagram, but I want a burger.”

I haven’t heard of it being a hospital policy, but I have a friend who had a bitch of a time finding a doc that would accept her as a VBAC patient/candidate. I wonder if it’s an insurance-risk thing?  But I agree that a blanket policy deserves a side-eye.

I love this. I hope it does come to fruition.

I was listening too. That anecdote is so absurd and hilarious.  Another one that was just like, “Huh?”, was her last place track start status.  What a strange case she is.

Is Michael Cohen Scared or Excited?

This case fascinates and horrifies me. As a mom who’s always been a wreck when her kid gets a sniffle, I cannot imagine the twisted mind that can justify doing the shit DeeDee did to her kid. I can only see red when it comes to what DeeDee did, so in my very slanted opinion...this result for Godejohn just makes me

She’s just the best and always makes me smile. I hope she planned to wear the track suit all along, win or no win.

Yes and no. She did hire up a bunch of Apple people and Jobs was definitely someone she looked up to, but the whole thing is definitely more than that.

Oh this seems so ‘on brand’ for her after listening to “the dropout”. I am looking forward to the HBO doc. I am fascinated at how she built such a mythology around herself so fast and at such a young age.

Yes, this.  This drive to be the most outraged about things to the detriment of thinking critically and lashing out at people who are trying to do just that is getting so tired.

I thought Nathalie and Guillermo were her business partners and...married to each other?  But I’ve never done a deep dive.  Either way, her relationship with both of them is more important than Doute.

Dorit’s vocal affectation is going off the rails.

I had no miscarriages and I would have been terrified to intervene at 7 mos pregnant.  You did what you could safely do in that situation.  If people could not be garbage humans, it would really be great.
