And she's in the Leftovers! Also next month! Is there such a thing as a quality show marathon-induced heart attack?
Ugggh, Fargo, Better Call Saul *and* The Leftovers all premeiring next month? Too much of great things.
The launch trailer has that song I like (Human by Rag n Bone Man; like a better Imagine Dragons) with the lyrics "I'm only human after all/ don't put the blame on me." It now sounds like it was a preemptive apology.
I gave my Ryder a scar on his cheek that is covered up by his facial hair. I imagine him attempting to be some super secret spy badass and failing miserably, so he's embarrassed by his failure and tries to cover it up, and his insecurities with bravado. I'm enjoying my (male) Ryder much more as a character than…
Pathfinders have direct AI interface embedded in their neural network, making them able to facilitate the complex calculations needed to determine a planet's viability in the field. Or some such.
Got past the point where the trial ended and am finally starting to enjoy myself. It required turning off the part in my brain that expects polished graphics. After that I'm flirting with crew members and getting lost in endless codex entries just like every other Mass Effect. Some of the writing is bad but a lot of…
Dang it guys.
Me too; it's not just the Tower, the way everything points to the center also definitely reminds of the Beam. Hearing that the director is a huge fan made me feel better too.
It's The Beam!
It really could be, and I'm hoping that against all odds it catches the zeitgeist and becomes the next Game of Thrones. The trailer needs to make a strong first impression, something weird and out there and intriguing for general audiences. Also please go R-rated: Logan showed that there's definitely a market for it.
Could Lud be our (our meaning general audiences) gateway into Mid-World? Taking a recognizable city and destroying it in an alternate universe seems like a good entry-point into the "there are other worlds"-ness of the DT world, and one that could potentially be more easily portrayed cinematically. Although I'm still…
As a huge fanboy, I'm worried that we still haven't seen a trailer and all, but worries aside for a moment, I gotta say… fuck, that's a cool poster.
In their desperate attempts to not miss out on what they perceive as a superhero bubble, they ironically hasten the bubble's burst.
Makes me want to see what he could do in love action. I get that they're totally different mediums but I'd love to see his style replicated in the real world.
Tits…
In that it actually resembles what you'll see in theatres. The American trailer people must have missed the memo saying this is an Edgar Wright movie.
I'm thinkin' he's back.
No one's acknowledging how messed up it was for Jack to kill an unarmed surrendering opponent. Old Jack wouldn't have done that.
I think my favorite things about this show are the backgrounds; their creation of scale is so impressive and so important in selling that it's a much larger world than what's just on screen; plus they're so dang beautiful I would buy any one of those backgrounds and hang it up in my house.
