I'm stuck on "Replica." I'm a sucker for those meanderingly catchy guitar riffs (reminds me of I'll Take Care of U)

Emmanuel f**king Lubezki was the director of photography! Oh man, I really need to re-watch this movie.

I forgot how much I loved this book series as a kid; if I remember correctly, the mysteries piled on top of themselves until it became ludicrous, but that was entirely the point; the lesson being that the world is too vast and mysterious to ever make sense of everything. The mysteries are ultimately beside the point;

Definitely their best album, one I actually want to listen to again. I wanted to like their past two albums, but there's a fine line between sparse production and boring production. There's almost too much empty space in the songs, which could work if Sim's voice was better, but it's not.

Can we just accept that Trump was born in Russia already?

I think I found the source of the problem: having a worldview!

Yeah that season was almost too dark for me, with the bath salt massacre and such. It was dark material, but I also think the editing or something was off, so it subliminally made the whole thing more sad than funny.

Are you hot about this? I'm hot! You're hot? Apparently we're all still hot about this!

When this was announced, I was sure from Kevin Spacey's involvement that it would be a knowing parody of the celebrity turns into something genre, an idea so dumb that they would lean into it and come out the other end as brilliantly satirical. Good to know that's not the case.

The flow of Talk to Me to Legend Has It to Call Ticketron had me practically breathless and fist pumping the whole way. My first taste of RTJ and goddamn I want more.

My brother is 8 years younger than me, and it never really occurred to me to play him music with the intent of getting him to like it. Imagine my surprise when I came back home for vacation one time and found him listening to Mutemath and Gorillaz and all the old stuff I played as a teen. He has since moved on, his

Same! I have no idea why, I just assumed it was my general tech ignorance.

*SPOILER* At first I was bummed when I heard and made the connection of her death *SPOILER* to her appearance in Rogue One. But after consideration, there's something so perfectly poetic about it; Princess Leia may have left us, but hope never will.

Apparently he's a big action star; he's in those Ip Man movies I see popping up on Netflix. Def have to check those out!

Two images have stuck with me after seeing it: Jyn and Cassian embracing as the planet erupts around them, and Chirrut taking his walk of faith to the master switch. Such a powerful moment; a lone man, thought weak and feeble by the mighty, defies all reason and probability and walks alone to his death. No force pull,

Forgettable characters seems to be one major criticism, but I think they're all really f**king cool for the time we have with them. It kind of works on a thematic level too, as you could argue that you lose something of yourself in war when you become a cog in such a giant machine; they don't have time to swap

I'm getting overwhelmed with the amount of free games in my backlog. Bioshock Infinite, Red Dead, Mass Effect Trilogy, and now Outlast and Burnout Paradise have been added. Too many free games! The hot tub's too hot!

I believe a majority of the commentariat (myself included) loved the finale.

Oh I definitely like it more than Breaking Bad, for the simple reason that I like the characters SO much more (and I already love Breaking Bad a whole lot). Also Halt got good its second season, but got great this season.
