nah shes not a suitable partner for Oliver at all, shes like louis lane typical damsel in distress, green arrow is more of an anti-hero so it doesnt fit. well it was always meant to be a darker show, i wouldn't put it past the CW crew to have a red wedding moment

she was epic in season 1 but in season 2 she started to get annoying and the character got consumed by the olicity thing

The age of Olicity is finally over!!! The worst part of the series by far, that horrid relationship absolutely butchered the awesome character that was season 1 Felicity! And plus, with the death of a fan favorite, the show has a chance to get back to season 1-2 quality.
