The whole argument is predicated on the construct that VIDEO is artificially hard to own. AUDIO is so easy to to own a CD of, rip a file from, copy, backup, move to various devices, share with your spouse, that most of the above arguments wouldn’t apply.

It's worth noting that, in Ohio at least, you can only reduce the tax paid on a vehicle purchase with a trade, if the car being purchased is a new vehicle.

USE LISTS!

As a Marysville, Ohio resident, I'm a little surprised to see this as news. It would almost be rarer to drive around town and not see a white Honda/Acura with black tape over the badges. The test track and R&D facilities are a big deal here, and it's no secret that most of the exotics around town are loaners for R&D

The oven cleaner recommendation should be taken with a grain of salt- there are plenty of stories of people who have used it and claim that a carbide tooth came loose from their saw blades afterwards. Purely anecdotal, but still a good enough reason to just buy the correct product.

This is interesting to me, as a Christian. For Christians who meditate, the explicit goal isn't to empty your thoughts, but to focus all of them on the Holy Spirit. I'm not accustomed to seeing that idea outside of Christianity, but intrigued to read it here.

I use my camera in conjunction with Evernote, daily. Storing inside Evernote lets me tag and add text, sync with other devices, and delete from my iPhone photo gallery.

I've been using Outlook 2007 as my only reader for several years. I subscribe to 50 or 60 feeds, and have very few issues. I setup an "Unread" view, and tend to delete as I go, but I also like being able to easily save, and forward interesting posts.

Why not just use MS Outlook if you want a desktop client? It works well all the options I need.

Binder Clip Alternative: Every hotel has hangers with clips on them. They work great to clip the curtains tightly closed. Credit: my 4 year old daughter, who both told me to do this, and reminded me that the hangers are in every hotel room.

I'm a new iPhone user, from years of Blackberry, and would love a similar piece. The small idiosyncrasies are driving me crazy.

My Kindle was a gift, and I use it to buy books when cheaper, that's it. I read a lot, and am already an Amazon customer. When I go to buy a book, I buy new, used, or kindle versions based on price. It's nice that I can read on it without glasses or in the dark, but not life-changing.

I greatly prefer Twitter over Facebook for logins, anyone can already see my tweets, so I'm not giving up much. With FB, there's a plethora of data and semi-private content I'd like more control over.

Taping lights to the handlebars of your bike and calling it a "hack" after grade 1 is bold.

A drafting table/desk makes a great workspace. Lots to be found on Craigslist!
