What’s the attraction of a DSG? At this point, if you’re going to go with two pedals, the 8 Speed’s can handle more power and torque, and shift so damn fast the difference is imperceptible. Other than telling your buddies “I got a dual clutch” to make it sound fancy, the DSG just doesn’t work anymore.

To get to this point, the S4 has had a turbocharged inline-five, a twin-turbo V8, a naturally aspirated V8, another naturally aspirated V8, a supercharged V6, and finally a turbocharged V6.

Is the NA V8 not that great? Turbos are great and all but I do really miss the response and feel of an NA motor, but that didn’t seem to be something you fawned over here. I would have thought it would make it a stand out option.
