Wait, he paid those two guys WITH A CHECK?!

Another stone classic in the too “good” to be true category. Thrown through a glass table and gang raped on the glass, but no cuts. Walked down a staircase in the middle of a weekend fraternity party and no one saw her. Turns out there wasn’t even a party the night she came back to her dorm and told her friends about

Is anyone on here willing to own up to the fact that it might have been reasonable to doubt Smollett’s story from the beginning, given how unbelievable certain aspects sounded (like the fact that bleach freezes at 20 degrees)? I saw multiple comments basically saying “if you doubted his story, it was because of

It’s not a mess, Tonja. It’s all pretty straightforward. Sadly, Jussie Smollett turns out to be a crummy gay black man. It happens. The mess is in your head. It’s called “cognitive dissonance.” We must acknowledge his gross misconduct, deplore it, and resume vigilance against real hate and intolerance.

lmfaoooooooo

You think a road in the United States called “I-690" is a city street?

Depends if the pedestrian was walking in the driving lane aka the restricted area of the road

The report specifically says they were on 690. Rt. 690 near the Thompson Road exit is very definitely a three-to-four-lane, limited-access highway (on ramps and off ramps only) where the speed limit is 55 MPH and on which pedestrians are very definitely not allowed.

With a train, though, it’s not like he could have stopped or swerved to miss the guy, so maybe that helps his psyche.

Fucking Idiot!

Jimenez was a passenger in a car that lost control on the highway and struck a guardrail.

In an old job, I got to know a good group of train engineers. One time after an event, we were at a bar in DC, and I think of the 10 guys there, 7 had been involved in fatal accidents, either suicide by train or people ignoring safety systems. My feeling from those stories wasn’t bravado, but just a coming to terms

I have a buddy who, for a while, was a train engineer.  He had two people commit suicide by train.  He seems unaffected, mostly, but I am guessing that’s a bit of bravado.

It’s brutal.  A close friend of mine had a man commit suicide by walking into traffic and she hit and killed him.  Beyond the absolute horror of having seen someone die that up close and knowing that you’re “responsible”, she had to prove in court that the man was actually committing suicide so that she wasn’t charge

Not to change the subject, but I’d like to point out that everyone and especially the writers on this site blasted Boeheim for saying Tyler Ennis “wasn’t ready for the NBA” after he declared for the draft. 4 years later, could anyone enlighten me as to how his NBA career is going?

I predict good things for this awful, awful comment. Well done.

savage. take your filthy star

He was initially charged with reckless driving but after review it was determined the guy wasn’t set and the call was reversed.

not a good start for bernie’s campaign
