There are very few good reason to arrest and charge an 11-year-old child with a crime. 99.9% of disciplinary issues with young children should be handled without criminalizing them by getting law enforcement involved.

My guess is he wanted exposure. I’ve never heard of him until this scandal, so I guess it worked. Unfortunately for him, he was exposed, so now I’ll forever know him as the actor/singer/director/photographer who faked a hate crime.
