Did she get shit for that? My impression is that she went from being hated and mocked to being somewhat sympathetic during that time period due to her reaction, but I admittedly only read about her on selected sites.

I think is was more like she just said “No, I don’t want to do another one, I’m over it and I’m moving on”. I don’t see any reason to try and conflate this into anything else. The others are doing quite well without it, so I don’t understand the cattiness here. She said no. End of story.

Whomever came up with the “let’s have them smash cake in each other’s faces” idea didn’t seem to think all the way through that decision because (at least on my phone) the icing makes it look like Heidi is bleeding profusely.

The name Gunner is bad. While I can’t hate on Speidi for having the baby today (babies gonna arrive when babies gonna arrive) the release of that name this morning takes my opinion from merely “bad” to “very distasteful.”

And the NK nationals thought to have some culpability were allowed to leave because NK held a number of Malaysian nationals as effective hostages.

The only thing I see different in the story is that it’s reported as smearing on his face and not a mist. Everything else - prank show, unknowing participants, belief they were being used - is the same.

I watched “Our Souls At Night” ( the new Fonda/Redford movie for Netflix) yesterday. It’s really a delight; an intelligent, understated story about two old acquaintances finding love in old age. And they both look terrific (I hope to have an ass like his at 80! What am I saying? I don’t have it now.)
