No it’s not and that’s beyond ignorant. Doctors do not make a single cent off prescribing. That’s not how medical billing works. I’m married to a doctor. In fact, there are major laws against that type of thing.

I know, those damn facts getting in the way of irrational, emotion-based responses.

Here’s an amazing idea:

That’s... not how it works. Doctors don’t make any money from prescribing pills.

I say the following as someone against the death penalty: At this point, would anyone really have any qualms with a public execution of the executives you hid this fraud and moreover benefitted from it?

Yeah... they definitely don’t blame alcohol for drunk driving. I mean, it’s not like there’s some kind of age limit on who can buy alcohol and there’s definitely no law prohibiting establishments from serving visibly drunk people.

That’s just not true. Yes, you’re correct that the sale price goes to the person selling, but that drives supply and demand. If no one is buying, the price plummets as people dump their stock and the company’s market cap tanks.

GChat does not allow you to send SMS. GChat is just a messaging service like the old AIM. However, if you use GChat (now Hangouts) and Google Voice, it has integrated SMS. However, Hangouts cannot send SMS from your carrier number, only from your Google Voice number.

Did the Dairy Council pay for this “article”? Seriously, unless you’re in a 3rd world country and are dying from hunger, it’s plainly evident that Almond Milk is the absolute best of the four because it’s low in calories, carbs, and fat and has the most calcium.

Um... I think you’re confusing angels with VCs.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t believe you. VCs care about one thing and one thing only, money. They don’t care if you’re a man, woman, gay, straight, black, white, or whatever. They care about making money.

You’re an idiot. Doomed because people eat meat? Brilliant.

Friends with very good credential and years of experience in their fields at rather high levels as well as meeting a few myself

Make sure to change your W4 to “married but withhold at the higher single rate” if both of you make decent money.

I’m assuming you’re married?

My wife and I got caught in this when we got married. We ended up owing about $2,000 because, just as you said, they assume one spouse is a 1950's housewife.

It would have been nice if they included the mean and mode, maybe a box chart or histogram, too.

Not true. Credit score can affect your insurance score which in turn affects your premium rates.

Here’s where high credit (and high income) become extremely beneficial: Negotiating. Both my wife and I are professionals with credit scores in excess of 800. We wanted to refinance her student loan. Her loan servicer (and this was about a month ago) wanted to give us a 4.95% 20 year variable rate. I called them up
