Transmit the flavor? Where did you get that? I’m pretty sure that’s not true.

Spot on. Denial is powerful.

I don’t know specifically what the doctors said in this case, or really in any case. They usually don’t give percentages, that’s too concrete. It’s typically more vague like, “it is unlikely the patient will recover” or “it is unlikely the patient will fully recover” or “it’s likely the patient will recover.”

The “seamless camera” is going to come at the expense of a shit ton of cinematics. Just look at Uncharted 4. I’d say, at least 1/2 but maybe up to 2/3 of the game is cinematics. I didn’t enjoy that aspect, since the previous 3 games didn’t have nearly that many.

Based on the demo and the deliberateness of the fighting sequence between Kratos and the Troll (reminded me of Dark Souls-ish fighting), I’m going to go with little to none. Which, frankly, sucks.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

You have no idea how often my wife tells me stories about that, and it frustrates the hell out of doctors.

No. The doctors will say what you said, for the most part. They’ll say, “there’s virtually no chance of recovery” and something you left out, “we recommend withdrawing care.”

Being married to a doctor, I see what they go through, and frankly, they have to be that way.

Did someone forget to announce that medicine and doctors are 100% correct at all times, every time?

Yes, giving a glimmer of hope when every set of odds says otherwise is a brilliant idea. /s

Spoken like someone who’s never tried VR. Every single person I’ve met that has tried VR is a believer. What we can say, with near certainty is, you’ve never tried VR.

Oh yeah... lack of opportunity. I’m sure. Because, I totally bet when someone goes into a casting call, the casting director looks at them and says “you’re black, get out.” Because, you know, Idris Elba, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Don Cheadle, Sam Jackson, Danny Glover, et al aren’t famous actors. Got it.

Use that miter saw in conjunction with some other tools to craft a nice bow and arrow set. Give the deer a fighting chance.

I’m not sure why you don’t understand that Nick Fury was originally white. It doesn’t matter what the comic, nonsensically, subsequently did. That highly correlates to social justice garbage and not the actual character.

Too bad, I’d have made you better. I wrote for 4 judges for 2 years. Never reversed by the 2nd Circuit. By the middle of my clerkship, I was writing the opinions and the judges were just signing off. Fairly unheard of for a term clerk.

So, because you can cherry pick some examples, we have to redefine words? I wasn’t left with any money. My grandparents were a secretary and a janitor. My mother worked her way through college with no financial help from anyone. But I guess I “benefitted” from some benevolent deity who apparently only bestows help on

No, it’s drafting decisions for federal district court judges that makes me know what the Constitution defines as “discrimination.” The fact that you claim to have gone to the “second best law school in the country” means you have absolutely no idea what the law means. I’ve never met someone from a “top law school”

Really? Not a single one? There’s literally at least 10 actors I could name off the top of my head that would be much better choices, who are true to the actual character.

I’m responsible for my own actions, you’re right. So I don’t give a fuck what people, to whom I’m not related, did to people 5 generations ago. I don’t give a single fuck.
