Did you just cite two of the cheapest ingredients on the planet? Baking powder is about $5 for 15 lbs. Flour is maybe $3 for 15 lbs. These things are called staples for a reason. If you have them, you can cook a ton of things with them. Which is less expensive than buying processed food.

Your third paragraph goes to the heart of what I’ve been saying. People have the time, but the choose to not cook. I didn’t particularly feel like spending 5 hours of my day off cooking. But, I knew that it’d make my week a lot easier. So, instead of not doing it, I did it.
