Totally agree. I’m hoping this is just a quirk of this being an early demo build and they can either increase performance somewhat so dynamic resolution doesn’t kick in as hard in performance mode, or, they introduce a proper per pixel motion blur in the 30fps mode. The game is unreal engine so this feature is easily

The problem is that for some reason, they didn’t implement motion blur for the graphics mode. I don’t mind 30fps at all for a game like this, but without motion blur, the flickering is borderline seizure inducing, and looks incredibly unnatural.

Hard disagree on the graphics mode.  The image is softer but the lack of a motion blur slider makes the 30fps very hard to look at.  FFXVI greatly benefited when they added a slider to dial back the intensity of it so it might be a viable option here if they do the same.

Nothing about this needed to be formatted into a slideshow to more effectively communicate the information.

“an orchestral arrangement of the super cheesy metal song.”

Played through last night. I wasn’t super impressed with the prologue to be honest. It was kind of a slog, and there’s a lot of janky oddities with the terrain movement (which in and of itself was a strange adjustment coming from the first game). Combat was fun at least (seems like a more robust version from the first

I think it still holds true, but its as you say, not the “porn” that we remember 20 years ago.

Porn or not, I have no idea why anyone is spending $3500 for these things

Yeah. Someone deep in Microsoft is doing the same math that Sega did when it finally let the Dreamcast give up its ghost, and the company transitioned to a full third party developer.

This is a very common trend with media sites today. It’s all SEO driven to get site traffic.

CyberShock

Of course.

ooo, that sounds excellent

Totally cringe outfits for a military game but that’s par for course with Japanese action games.

A game by incels, for incels.

Nice, always enjoy seeing this game crop back up in the news. It’s still by far the best iteration of 3D Sonic since the original Genesis era.

It’s amazing how that trailer gave you nothing at all to grasp on to.

Knuckles will always be the superior edgy Sonic rival.

Generations is the only 3D Sonic that has really held up for me, so I’m excited for this one.

Thank fuck honestly, that’s refreshing. Not every damn rpg needs a dating sim built in.
