No, merely remembering how many iterations of Street Figher V there were before it was “done.”
Not sure why anyone outside of the pro circuit even cares about the initial release of any SF game anymore.
This douche user you’re responding to has been spamming this entire thread throwing a hissy fit at anyone who points out the obvious social implications of making a cop sim.
Because that's not a statement, it's a technical observation. A statement has a message.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. I think if you’re going to broach these topics as a developer, you’re better off going all in and making a point, rather than trying to avoid one alltogether. Or, don’t bother at all.
The blurred faces made it really eerie, and oddly enough made it seem more human.
Seriously, this isn’t even news, just a spoiler article disguised as a thinly veiled social commentary piece in order to rage bait idiots, as well as the usual “inb4" comments, despite the fact that Kotaku’s user base is overwhelmingly to the left.
It’s... fine.
Disney knows they can outlast a one-trick Governor whose only platform is virtue signaling to racist geriatrics and inbred morons in his state. Eventually they’ll just fund a replacement and send him packing.
I forget where I read the stat, but in 1993 at least. Mario was more recognizable than Mickey Mouse by American children. I can only assume he’s grown more relveant since then, not less.
I think it’s colloquially expressed as “seek help.”
How about no to both.
That’s not really an apt comparison... like, at all. Majora’s Mask was built around an entirely different world than OoT. It borrowed the aesthetic and a lot of the assets, but the story, world, mechanics, and the quests made it feel completely unique to its predecessor. Hell, the entire mechanic of changing characters…
Meh, I’m still not that excited even after that. It just looks like a lot more of the same, which is fine if that’s what you want, but I played BotW enough to never want to play it again. Still no indication of proper dungeons. The Banjo/Kazooie vehicle/weapons mechanic looks goofy, and yes, I hate that weapons break.
Fallout 4 sucked without mods. I would’ve quit after 15 hours if it weren’t for the community additions. The story was just bad, along with the choice options to drive the narrative. The fact that it forced you to pick one of the three factions at the end, and no option to negate any of them, was just stupid.
My biggest gripe with Bethesda games in general is that they design the world first, then build stories around it (not my words, but theirs), which is why they always feel lackluster from the narrative side.
So it’s Love, Death, and Robots, but Star Wars? Wasn’t even aware of this, but that’s what it reminds me of.
I think we needs Colbert’s Bear threat level to determine the true danger here.
I’m digging the visual style. The illustrations are a nice balance between the comics from the late 90s early 2000s, and the more elongated Sonic that came about from the Dreamcast era.
