It’s a mixed bag at best. Absolutely not worth the cost it takes to buy the hardware necessary to run it that way.

GET TO ‘DE CASTLE... NOW!!!!
It’s poetic justice that a mega corp used the policies championed and enacted by the GOP for decades to shut little Ronnie down like a child.
Woke is just a catch-all term that, to them, describes anything remotely left of center to their worldview, which is so far to the right that basically anything could fall into that purview.
One day, they will rise up, out of their parents basements!
I love how the alt+right’s go-to pejorative has devolved into a single syllable buzzword that’s easy to remember, no matter how stupid you are.
Man, glad I didn’t cave during the spring summer sale. Almost considered it.
Blame should be on the director and producers. They’re the one’s who choose the actors for their movies.
As a non-white, minority voter, I’d like you to stop speaking for me you bigot.
Glad to see the Galaxy series above Odyssey, which I found to be incredibly overrated.
Sarah yeeting from Joel should be the new canon.
I hated 5 just like I hated 8. They took what was great about their first foray into something different (4 and 7 were both groundbreaking for the series), took away the scares, and leaned too heavily into action.
I’m just bummed it currently runs like ass on the Steam Deck, compared to 2, 3, VII, and VIII which all run at a pretty solid 60fps on medium/high settings. Not a big deal. I have no intentions of dropping $60 to play this one, and will wait for a sale. Hopefully some performance improvements will crop up between now…
I liked Breath of the Wild for doing something different with the series, but it’s really just a bare-bones open world adventure game, with a thinly veiled story attached. I played it enough to never want to play it again, and more of it just doesn’t sound all that appealing.
Seriously, I feel like I’m the only one who was completely underwhelmed by the entire preview. It just feels like more Breath of the Wild, in which case I’ll pass. I enjoyed the game for what it was, but once the novelty of exploration and the physics mechanics wore off, there wasn’t much left, and I’ve no desire to…
I’m fine with anything that pisses Kotick off.
BoTW is unplayable on anything other than the Switch’s small screen because it looks terrible blown up on an HD TV. No doubt this will be the same.
I’m genuinely curious how well it’ll perform on the Deck. I’ve had Dolphin for years on my ancient PC, and enjoyed playing games like Wind Waker and Strikers Charged in 4K, though I haven’t fired it up in years.
Same. Breath of the Wild was just a bare bones open-world game featuring Link and the Zelda IP. The story was contrived and poorly written, the Shrines weren’t all the challenging to beat, and the big guardians all looked the felt the same. The introduction of physics was neat, as was the ability to freely explore,…
None of this looked all that exiciting to me.
